Washington Alder LLC has been manufacturing and supplying superior quality hardwood lumber since 1999. We provide the very best Alder, Ash, Birch and Maple lumber for a wide range of clients around the world.
Based in Mt Vernon, Washington, USA. our production facility is in the center of the natural resource base for these important species. Our furniture grade lumber is kiln dried 8-10% moisture content in state-of-the-art kilns and is abrasively planed S2S.
We offer 26 different grades in our Alder lumber selection alone, and a wide range of grades in our other species.

Washington Alder LLC, Cascade Hardwood LLC and Port Angeles Hardwood LLC are SFI certified and committed to and participate in the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program, which practices a land stewardship ethic of principles, objectives and performance measures that integrate Best Management Practices (BMPs) and Forest Practice Rules and Regulations.
We encourage our vendors to practice the sustainable growing and harvesting of trees for useful products, to promptly reforest following harvest, and to promote the conservation of soil, air and water quality and the protection of biological diversity, wildlife habitat, recreational use, and natural aesthetics.
